@contentandwell, I think I prefer being 'not-so-young' and being safe:-)
Yes it is it's only a couple blocks from my son's apartment and my daughters adult family home brings her to see me often I can't sit in a wheelchair yet because I can't bend my legs the braces I have on have to stay straight at all times right now as my knees are also broken but I'm hoping that changes soon I have my phone but can't hold it for a long time as it gets heavy and starts to hurt my left shoulder and wrists
Yes I did I have my bone density at Rochester every year and I like to trace the patterns of the leaves Everytime I go in there
@glinda Glinda, Thank you!! - People here at home look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them.
The other Mayo Wonder is the heated gel for the ultrasound:-)
Rosemary
Yeah I like that too and when I have my echocardiogram they always let me watch while I'm having it
@rosemarya I think those young people have good enough reflexes and are strong enough to be safe. When I was young and skied a lot I did things I wouldn’t dream of now.

@glinda you have been through so much, after having a transplant I can’t imagine having an accident and having to deal with what you are dealing with now. I admire your strength.
I am glad you have family close by, that must help.

@glinda I have had 2 echos and I was allowed to watch and listen...Amazing!!!
@rosemarya nor can I imagine going backwards or running without holding the bars. Oh, to be young again.
