Wanted: Organ Transplant Recipients Who Have Been Hit By a Car
"Are there any transplant recipients of any organ who have been hit by a car? How did you recover? What helped you to recover from the multiple injuries?
I am posting this discussion question on behalf of one of our members,
@glinda who has recently been hit by a car and asked me to do it for her. Due to multiple injuries, she may not be able to respond right now and can read your messages.
Your support and encouragement will be appreciated as she recovers.

@contentandwell, I just noticed - I think you meant your earlier reply to be addressed to @andtridd63.
@glinda, I am happy, though not as happy as you, to read about your progress!
I am guessing that you are pretty worn out after the PT. At least that is how it has always affected me.
I spent most of yesterday playing with my 5 yr old granddaughter - and I am 'zapped' today! I must really be in a floral mood, because I took a solar light flower (pink, her favorite color) to her. We put it out in her front yard, and then we had to wait until it got dark to see it! I was relieved that it worked! I got it for a whole $1.00:-)

@hopeful33250, I like that. "Graduation to go into rehab" 🙂
@rosemarya actually I should have put both of them there because I was responding to Rose999's post where she mentioned the sheepskin covers. I will repost, thanks.
JK
@andtridd63 I posted this originally as a response to rose999 but I am reposting it with your name so you will get notified of it also.
I was wondering the same thing as Rose mentioned, if those sheepskin steering wheel covers might help. It could be worth a try. I hope you find some way to be able to wear your seatbelt, they really do save lives.

Hi @rosemarya
I love your philosophy of gardening: "but I do stick things in the ground – it is their choice whether or not to grow! "

@rosemarya and @glinda
Thanks! Always looking for ways to celebrate the small steps in life!

@glinda Yes, now the hard work begins. Here is a little something to help your eyes feel happy. Things like you are experiencing only happen in the movies-unfortunately, they do occur in real life. Too early here for flowers other than some painting I have done from last summer's flower garden. Will keep you close in thought.
@parus, This painting is beautiful! I feel like I could reach out and pick the yellowish one in the center foreground! You have a remarkably talent for detail and shading. Might I ask what size your actual painting is?
I know that it wasn't meant for me, but I feel compelled to barge in here and thank you for brightening my day:-)

@glinda, Today we actually woke up to snow. My daffodils are trying to hold on. I fear that our nextt few days of normal weather will take a real toll on them.
How are you getting along? I hope that your pain is controllable. I also hope that you are able to find some sort of enjoyable way to pass some of your time between therapy sessions, if there is such a thing.
Did you see the flower painting that @parus sent to you? I think that summer sounds/looks pretty good right now.
Get lots of rest. And know that we are rooting for you from many locations.
