Does CBD oil help you with your depression and/or anxiety?
I am curious to know if anyone has had success with CBD or Hemp oil helping with depression/anxiety? I’ve been reading a lot about it and am curious.
I've been reading about this and am very interested but would like thoughts/opinions from anyone who has actually tried it or knows someone who has. TIA
Thank you,
Laura

Ok, reporting in...I did go to the music jam. Oh, I had such a wonderful time.
I sang the Beautiful Tennessee Waltz. It was the number one song the day I was born. I nailed it.
I also sang In the Garden. So many folks were singing along with me...
Oh everyone made me feel so welcome...This is not usual for this area...So many people came up to me and asked me to come back and keep singing for them.
I think I found my crowd too. Gosh, we were all kidding each other, there is nothing shy about me. When I was nursing, I would often make the patients laugh out loud being mischievous. Actually, I was also accessing their condition in a non usual way...I also just realized I was continually making sure they got their bursts of endorphins regularly.
Next week I will add Wake up Little Susie and Teen Angel. I have so many Gospel Songs under my belt too. I always sang in my church.
When I was in College, the Facility asked, For our one elective class, would we like Gym, or Chorus. We all looked at each other and we ALL said, "Chorus". There were 35 girls in my class. I was one of 2 girls trained to hit high C. We all made beautiful music together.
Nighty, night.
I feel so wonderful tonight. Night all, only had 4 hours sleep last night. I am calling a friend in CA, then hitting the bed. I can't stop smiling tonight!!!! Bright Wings
@brightwings You made my heart sing Susie I also sang in church and here at kareoke I do a mean Patsy Cline Whem Mom died she ask me earlier to sing In the Garden I can hear the excitement in your words Yea
@lioness
Tonight was not magical, but close to it. Maybe it is because it is the big city...around 3,000 folks here. I moved from the county seat in a neighboring county, 732 folks. So yes, this is the big city...here.
@brightwings Big or little still thrilling .Im just the opposite lived in a rural area now subburban I prefer rural but happy where I am near son and his family
@lioness Oh how I miss the rural!!! So much noise.
@lioness
I started my life in one of the biggest, little small towns around...Milwaukee...Remember Laverne and Shirley?
That's where I grew up.
Then a stint in new jersey, near new York city, and back to Chicago......so moving to a county seat with 662 folks total kind of blew my mind.....and then some one invited me to a music jam....
Thru my singing, I received a key to society, Ozark Style. My husband earned his key by starting the food bank and worked in it or at it 5 days a week until the day before he died.
Yes, the Ozarks have been so good for us. Water, hill country.....I had been coming down here to float rivers for 8 years with extended family before we moved here out "02.
I had been feeling regretful that my posts diverted the purpose of this thread, but its posted in depression. So maybe it is right to be here, cuz look how great we all feel about the music jam. Thank you all for being so excited about me reclaiming part of my life that lead to my depression in O9.
I guess its true, you can't keep an old girl down.....
Bright Wings, flying today!
@lioness
I am so happy you are near family. I am in the buckle of the bible belt...lol... And all the rest of my family is on all of the coasts of America.
Yes, it's going to be a great day. Birthday party for my adopted son Donald. I make kick was lasagna and maybe will make bread.
The big party will be saturday. He is smoking a giant beef round roast....oh yum
Hi - many of you have talked about your depression and anxiety over time and CBD oil or other remedies you've tried in this discussion, so wanted to check in to see how you all are doing. I think your responses will be helpful to many members here.
@wigreenthumb - how is your anxiety these last couple days?
@tdib - how are your anxiety and depression? Are you feeling as though they are under control, or not so much?
@granny55 - is your anxiety level changing as you have started on your new medication?
In general, anxiety is reduced. However, I still have occasional episodes of high anxiety, after about 6 days of CBD oil use. I am left wondering if maximum benefits occur with continued use, with buildup of chemical changes in the body similar to use of SSRI drugs. Anyone out there know about that?
Good morning @wigreenthumb- Yes, it's necessary to take cbd oil at the same time everyday. Please google antidepressants and cbd oil. I take Zoloft and wellbutrin and it is not interfering.
