Does CBD oil help you with your depression and/or anxiety?
I am curious to know if anyone has had success with CBD or Hemp oil helping with depression/anxiety? I’ve been reading a lot about it and am curious.
I've been reading about this and am very interested but would like thoughts/opinions from anyone who has actually tried it or knows someone who has. TIA
Thank you,
Laura

Yes. It’s a dissolvable 5000 mg tablet of vitamin B-12. I use the Kirkland brand from Costco.
@annedodrill44 Did you mean mcg. rather than mg? I occasionally use the sublingual of 5000 mcg. It can be helpful.
Thank you. I will try the B12. I use CBD also and it helps.
Yes — mcg of b-12. Thank you for noticing my error!
For everyone on this post, here’s a chuckle for today:
Yesterday I was happily out and about doing some early holiday shopping. In the midst of choosing snowman earrings for my granddaughter — and out of nowhere — came “the feeling” ... you know ... the tidal wave of anxiety that starts in your stomach and rushes to your head, the nausea, the feeling of profound illness. So I left the store, got in my car and headed to the nearest ER 5 minutes away, intending to demand relief once and for all. I no sooner pulled up in front of their big red, white and blue sign, than the horrid feeling vanished. So I went back to my shopping without further incident. Wonder what today will hold?!? Such is the life of those afflicted by anxiety — with or without meds!! Hope your day is happy and peaceful!

Sadly, I think most of us has had a similar experience. I know I have. When it happened to me, it was so many years ago and I was in love with my Effexor for all the ways it helped me.
At this time, I was at a FANTASTIC workshop (a very rare occurrence). I was off from work, a block from the beach, laughing and having a grand ol' time. In addition, after this great day, my hubby and friends were going to pick me up to go to dinner for my FAVORITE food at my FAVORITE restaurant.
All sounds great! Right? Wrong! As I said before, there was lots of laughing. And so I was when it hit me! That sinking feeling, nausea, shaking and sweating, etc.
I excused myself and headed for the restroom. There were no private seats except for the stall. I sat down and my body shook so hard and the sweat poured out of me and....you know the rest. I sat there for over a 1/2 hour trying to compose myself.
I HAD to return to my seat. I didn't have any emergency pills like I do now. I sat at my seat bouncing my legs up and down and tried fanning myself in a direction where my aroma wouldn't offend anyone.
I have to admit I had a pretty good recover after the attack and when my hubby and friends came to pick me up I was much better and able to enjoy my meals qnd the company!
And so it goes....

Thanks for sharing those "anxiety experiences." You are both resilient folks who inform and educate with a sense of humor, no less!
Here is wishing you a good day without “the feeling.”
@grandmar, thank you so much for sharing your experiences. It makes me feel less alone in this challenge. So grateful for this forum!
Thank you Teresa!
