Does CBD oil help you with your depression and/or anxiety?
I am curious to know if anyone has had success with CBD or Hemp oil helping with depression/anxiety? I’ve been reading a lot about it and am curious.
I've been reading about this and am very interested but would like thoughts/opinions from anyone who has actually tried it or knows someone who has. TIA
Thank you,
Laura

Personally, I see no harm in taking a mild antidepressant and I take one daily. It keeps me pretty well balanced, and my doctor (primary care) has given me something stronger to be used as a "fire extinguisher". He gives me 7 at a time of the stronger. I use one if I am going to be in an extra stressful situation. This plan is working well for me.

When you "send me to the dictionary" it really is not a long trip. I simply right click on the unfamiliar word and the search engine brings up the meaning. Technology has it's values, doesn't it?

I started to read this post again. I took the cbd oil 0.3% thc for 1 month. It helper me relax and sleep. It's finished and I live in Ecuador and want to try what I can find here. The lowest thc is 3% thc cbd oil here. I am wondering if I can get high on it just with 1 or 2 drops. I want to take it for depression and sleep.
Hi @liz223, just wondering if you can explain better the "fire extinguisher ". I am on zoloft
Hi, I haven't written for a while. I've been on cbd oil hempworx and Lazarus for 1 month. At this point I a using 30 drops and is helping with sleep and inflammation. I want to lower the zoloft but waiting to see better results. I finished my first cbd oil high spectrum tincture bottle. I want to try the cbd oil that is available in my country Ecuador. The only problem is that they sell with 3% thc (the lowest) mostly to cancer patients. I am worried about any "high" feeling I can get on it and how many drops to use for depression. Is 3% thc too much? Thanks
@lorena1egas
I'm other sure about the 3% information. I recommend that you get a dropper that is marked with. 25, .50, .75, and 1.0 ml doses. Then start with .25 mL only, hold under your tongue for 15 seconds. It may take 2 hours before you feel any effects. Then based on how you feel, take more or less until you have the relaxation you are seeking. There isn't much information out there about dosages, so you just have to experiment until you find what works for you. Start small so you don't get overwhelmed. You can't really overdose, but I have felt anxiety when I got too high once--that wasn't pleasant. Best of luck with this. Please follow up and let us know how it's working for you. Also, keep in mind that I'm not a medical professional, so I'm offering you my experience only.

Hi Lorena, I am on a very mild anxiety med that I take each day, but my doctor has given me a prescription for Alprazolam to take when I become too filled with anxiety because it causes my blood pressure to go very high. He jokingly said I should use it only as a "fire extinguisher". Working so far. 🙂
Thanks for your answer. I am afraid because the over the counter cbd oil in USA is with just 0,3% thc. It's the only one I have tried aND lover it. 3% thc is already medical marihuana and is used more for cancer patients at my country Ecuador. I am scared because of its psychoactive properties
I thought you were on an antidepressant
