My mother is having complex partial seizures w/ acute kidney failure

Any experience with constant partial complex seizures with acute kidney failure? My mother has been medically sedated for 4 days. Seizures medications are not stopping the seizures and kidneys are getting worse. No history of seizures. All tests come back fine.

Continue with the 3 seizure medicines that she is on.. if the creatin goes any higher.. (3) then dialysis... we have no idea what started the seizures.all test have came back negative for infections/stoke.

Have they tried IVIG therapy? I was diagnosed with Faciobrachial Dystonic Seizure/Epilepsy and that’s the only thing that got my jerks to stop

I would like to share with you that my spells have stopped since I don't freeze up having Partial Complex Seizures

Hi Cindy, can you explain what you mean by "freezing up" and how your seizures have stopped.
