Confused about diet for Stage 3 or 4 CKD

@cidmeyers, Yes, I'm finding it harder the past few weeks to stay away from comfort and sweet desserts and fear I'll have to pay the piper for sure when I see my nephrologist later this week. Pretty sure I need to start pulling out my kidney/diabetes diet plan and posting it in plain sight to get back on track. However, grins, since I completed the labs last week, may go ahead and indulge a bit more until I see the doc. Shame on me!

Probably shouldn't confess this, having just published a bunch of recipes but my Tuesday labs showed a GFR drop back into stage 4 from stage 3b. Had nothing to do with diet, though - pretty sure the shingles and accompanying meds are responsible. Hope it improves but if not, it is what it is. Funny thing is, I feel well!

@kamama94 You and I have talked about these sometimes changes in values. Remember to look at the trend! You're doing fantastic!
