Tramadol Helps with Exhaustion

Posted by keeptrying @keeptrying, Dec 6, 2017

Besides the constant pain, the exhaustion of trying to carry around 2 dead, numb legs (I call logs) exhausts me until I can do nothing. My neurologist prescribed a minimal dose of Tramadol for pain, but it is wonderfully effective at giving me some ENERGY so I can just do simple basic tasks. Anyone else either have this extreme fatigue or a Tramadol experience?

Gabapentin helped initially, but now it doesn't. I've also tried lyrica and many natural remedies. Agree that people don't know how dangerous too much Tylenol is.

Interesting. When I went through menopause I had horrible burn in in my feet and mouth. I chewed on ice and couldn't wait to get home to put my feet in cold water. Never thought of Epsom salt. Would have been a good idea.

@lioness I do not do any vitamin B. Is the rub you use over the counter or a prescription? The runs that I have found tell you to was it off your hands. That’s the most significant pain area.

Me too. Combats the fatigue. Other opiates don't

I sometimes take 1/2 of 1 tablet of Tramadol ... it numbs the pain enough so I can be myself and live my life for awhile; it doesn't make me sleepy or 'out of it'. The state I'm living in now (Virginia, a suburb of DC) has started asking about everyone's health issues and medications on Driver's License Applications - and they are refusing to give licenses to people who list Tramadol - even people like me who have never had an accident or arrest. The state has also started a 'data sharing' plan - they say it's to combat 'opioid epidemic' but it doesn't stop there. The Walmart Pharmacy refused to fill my rx for Tramadol just last week because the doctor who wrote it won't give up information about his patients to the state and the Walmart. I had it filled elsewhere. It scares me to think that clerks can withhold our medicine and make us suffer. Peggy
