Tramadol Helps with Exhaustion

@pfbacon

I sometimes take 1/2 of 1 tablet of Tramadol ... it numbs the pain enough so I can be myself and live my life for awhile; it doesn't make me sleepy or 'out of it'. The state I'm living in now (Virginia, a suburb of DC) has started asking about everyone's health issues and medications on Driver's License Applications - and they are refusing to give licenses to people who list Tramadol - even people like me who have never had an accident or arrest. The state has also started a 'data sharing' plan - they say it's to combat 'opioid epidemic' but it doesn't stop there. The Walmart Pharmacy refused to fill my rx for Tramadol just last week because the doctor who wrote it won't give up information about his patients to the state and the Walmart. I had it filled elsewhere. It scares me to think that clerks can withhold our medicine and make us suffer. Peggy

@pfbacon Oh my gosh ,your kidding thats awful whats our government doing to us ,its going to send people to the black market

@pfbacon peggy oh my gosh. I can't believe they would do that. I take tramadol because l can only take 2 pain meds due to my liver. And l just got out the hospital last week because l had to have my appendix taken out and my doctor gave me a prescription for tramadol and l filled my prescription at Walgreens. Where l live we have the highest opioid abuse but l asked several of my doctors if tramadol was an opioid and the answer was no. It's really not any worst than tylenol or any other otc pain meds And l guess if l couldn't have it my insurance wouldn't pay for it but l guess it's better than morphine. Have you asked your doctor to write a note to your insurance company or maybe you can try mail order. I would see what your doctor can do.
