@sing26 "Medicine has advanced and care has declined." That is the perfect description of what is happening. Thank you for that. I have a whole round of appointments coming up in January and all I feel is "what is the point, they're not listening." Get you in, get that billing information, and rush you through with a pat on the head and if not a diagnosis that blames you, then just a generic pill. Given the side effects of what they have me on now, I'd almost rather stop taking the pills and enjoy having an actual life until I keel over.

@shepsiccle I forgot to mention in my reply that I also research all meds before I fill the prescription. I found that I don't need, want, or can take 99% of them. Even meds you are already taking, you can research. You can find clinical studies ,drug interactions, and side effects. I found out a few years ago that a drug I had been using over 30yrs. Was not only not effective any more but it was causing complications and worsening my problem.

@shepsiccle keep notes at home. So if they are willing you can provide them. As far as meds. I weened off all perception meds. I researched and spices, herbs , food and drinks. There are many natural ways to treat most things. With a lost less side effects. I've seen a lot of improvement.
