Medication merry-go-round with AI's?
I am 16 months post BM. My only recommended treatment is the aromatase inhibitors. I am now on #3 - Exemestane for the past 7 months. I can tolerate many of the side effects but the headaches are severe, daily and now a game changer. I can't cope with them any longer. So I am asking my breast oncologist to go back to either my #1 Anastrozole or my #2 Letrozole. I initially tried both for several months, but again, the horrific headaches caused me to request a change. As far as I know, these are my only choices. I think it's going to be a medication merry-go-round for the next 4 years. The situation is between a rock and a hard place.

I, too, decided to quit AIs. Dealing with osteoarthritis, bronchiectasis and spinal issues was enough on its own. Anastrozole was crippling me. At 78, I will take my chances. Wish you all the best .
