@nurit Have you seen an orthopedist about this new symptom? We are patients like you, not medical professionals who can begin to figure out what is happening from your description.
Has it been shown (by imaging) that the original fracture has healed? Have you seen the doctor about these new symptoms?

The MRI showed that that the fracture healed . I'm seeing orthopeds (all my right side has problems) but because they're specialized only in one area, my healing was delayed. My question is how to heal an internal bruise besides resting?

@nurit I'm not sure what you mean by internal bruising. If it accumulated blood in the tissue, gentle massage and a lot of movement will help your body eliminate it more quickly. If the bone itself is bruised, the usual recommendations are rest, ice, elevation and pain control. I had a bone bruise on my hip from a fall, and it took 4 months for the lump to diminish and pain to go away.
Ice should be used 3-4 times a day.

Thank u Sue. It's hematoma after a hairline fracture. Since I can't walk, I swim. What do u think about compression socks?

@sueinmn
I'm doing PT for my shoulder. It's so ridiculous that PT is given for only one part of your body even we know that is all connected.
Got an MRI, that's how I knew that the fracture healed.

@nurit PT doesn't have to be "for one body part" if the doctor writes the referral correctly. My surgeon writes "evaluate and design therapy for complete recovery from [rotator cuff repair and related deficits]" Currently I am in hand therapy for wrist replacement and related arthritic changes, so she can treat my crooked fingers and forearm issues.

@nurit That is a question for the doctor. I have no training or experience with compression garments.
