Carmelita has passed away.
My wife, Carmelita passed away on 8/21/26. She chose to do chemo even though she was stage 4 with METs to her liver. She went through 3 rounds of chemo that didn't work and eventually had Mets in her lungs. She ended up in the hospital 3 times. Over a period of 14 months. She did not survive her last last administration because of a stroke that put an to her suffering. I'm thankful that she doesn't have to wake up every morning to another day of misery. I have stayed on this site to see how people are doing with the Daraxonrasib which was her next drug to try. But it has been over a month since she passed away and it is time to let her go.

1 Reaction@suelannon I am sorry for your loss. Prior to Carm's passing I didn't comprehend the depth of pain that overwhelms the heart and mind when a spouse passes away.
