Ambien stopped working. Ideas?

@nallyator19571031 - welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I'm sorry sleep is not coming easily and you feel like jumping off a bridge sometimes. Feeling tired all the time sounds awful.

The suicide and mental health crisis help resources may be especially useful, and I'd encourage you to talk with someone at one of them to get some input on getting off the poor sleep cycle.
Wondering if the zolpidem (Ambien) all of a sudden stopped working well? Does your doctor know you are feeling as though you need to add something else in order to get some sleep?

@lisalucier I went to my doctor and we had an open conversation about my sleep and anxiety. I started a new medication. She told me to get out and walk or ride a bicycle. I started at a gym and I think this is going to be helpful. Thank you

No I haven’t said anything yet. I’m afraid if I do they won’t give me anything else. However I did call today and the office staff to tell my doctor I am having severe anxiety.
