Is anyone dealing with S I Joint Pain?
I had one steroid injection that obvious he hit a nerve. That was 2 months ago. I was much worse after. I have flare ups after every PT session. And I’ve been off work for 7 weeks. My new physiatrist suggests another injection … I’m apprehensive.
But, now have a major flare up from trying to go to work. I only went for 3 days, 4 hrs each day. So I am considering the injection. I don’t know what else to do.
Open to any suggestions. Has anyone tried chiropractor ?

I tried Chiro .. picked the wrong one for sure. Even though they were highly recommended. First adjustment left me having over 5 hrs of feeling really good. Then the pain and nerve pain kicked in. I had explained at the very beginning my history and how PT was too aggressive and it sent me into major nerve flare ups and I need to avoid that. Next day he was ready to do same adjustments. I said no . So he did drop table .. here I am in bed. Ugh
Plus wanted paid for the entire month .. $870 . Not going back.
michelle,
how disappointing, especially since it sound as though the chiropractor knows the craft, but avarice is preventing the best practice.
I hope you were amazed enough by the five an a half hours to find another chiropractor. I've never seen a chiropractor who wants to see me two days in a row. Nor do they set up long term plans.
Did you find out anything you didn't know about your pain?

1 Reaction@gently it was highly disappointing. And I didn’t really. I do know now though that the nerve pain has to be treated first. Or I cannot move on with treatment to build my core. So that is my plan now. My dr is recommending a patch that helps the nerve pain. But, what I’ve read it doesn’t hit deep nerve just the surface. May adjust go back on gabapentin and deal
With fatigue and fog for 3 months to get me back to PT.
