Is anyone dealing with S I Joint Pain?

I had one steroid injection that obvious he hit a nerve. That was 2 months ago. I was much worse after. I have flare ups after every PT session. And I’ve been off work for 7 weeks. My new physiatrist suggests another injection … I’m apprehensive.
But, now have a major flare up from trying to go to work. I only went for 3 days, 4 hrs each day. So I am considering the injection. I don’t know what else to do.
Open to any suggestions. Has anyone tried chiropractor ?

@michelle103064 --I have over a lifetime of injuries been lucky enough to at the time have friends or family suggest this one or that one and what they were being treated for. This taught me tow things over time. First is a lot of doctors don't recognize them. I just know a good one can help with certain pain issues. The tide has been slowly turning in their favor and a lot of doctors now recommend one that specializes in certain fields. I wish you all the luck in the world and good health. Have a blessed day.

Appt went well. They took X-rays, did a lot of testing, listened to me without rushing and truly were concerned.
Go back tomorrow for the results and a treatment plan. I’m excited!

Randy, did you find that most chiropractors like to talk about what they are doing and why. They are the most talkative of medical professionals to my delight.

@gently -Yes i did. That is because they ( good Ones) like to do their best for you , and if they cant help they will refer you to some one that can.

Today went over test results. Had a treatment plan. Did adjustments. And I had 51/2 hrs with some relief. Then pain set in.. but to be expected.
God is good!
Next appt. Tomorrow morning.

Actually love to chat with them like they were next door neighbors not long
after being a patient. its amazing how much they enjoy either family or
hobbies or just like you to hear new stories and how you are getting on
with his or her treatments.They are their own breed odf doctor. I had one
that years ago many years now did a hair test from a strand of hair and ran
a test that told the doctor what vitamins my system was lacking . i will
have to see if they still do something like that now days when i see my
next chiropractor.
