@dalleyb they are ok but didn't really help with my pain issues
@jakedduck1 I've been wearing a pair of New Balance extra wide tennis shoes with diabetic socks for years, and the pain of having to wear shoes is considerably less than it was beforehand.

2 ReactionsHi. Wishing you a positive breakthrough moving forward. I just read the initial post and all the comments. Three thoughts: 1) Has your medical team eliminated the possibility that your PN is just that and not either CIPD or anti-MAG? I ask because for me, the first analysis was not correct, nor the second. 2) Re shoes, I'm sure there are lots of good ones. I have been using Kuru shoes the past 3 years. For general use, I wear the Quantum 2.0 wides and for home use, the Tread sandals. Kuru's are not cheap, but they are incredibly comfortable, and are built like tanks. 3) There is an incredible amount of bunk out there, especially on the internet and via social media. I would try to research anything you are considering buying or using by trying to find as much about it through independent reviews and analysis. Everyone is different and some things work for some people, but not others -- however, there are tons of cases where folks are selling snake oil to capitalize on other's misfortune. All the best.

If this junk (in my opinion) worked as it claims don't you think pharmaceutical companies and doctors would be promoting it or bought it by now? It's an over the counter supplement not endorsed by the FDA. Many other scam products have these ingredients and I haven't seen connect members singing their praises. Personally, I wouldn't waste my money on it and promote the scam industry more than people already do.

Does anyone have a product they can recommend that did help?
Welcome @peg3, Good question that many of us have asked when first finding Connect. Here's a search listing 277 discussions members started on "neuropathy what helps? - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/search/discussions/
Do you have neuropathy diagnosis? What are your symptoms that you are trying to find out what helps?
Yes I do have been diagnosed with neuropathy, my feet and part of my legs feel like I have socks on when they are bare, and Katelyn my feet are starting to tingle. I have type two diabetes. I want to find something, maybe a supplement that can help before it gets worse. I’m 80 years old and not that good at investigating on the internet. Thanks for any help you can give me.

1 ReactionIt has been a while since I have posted something. I have been suffering with this malady for more than ten years. Tried just about everything, I.e: TENS unit, steroid injections to relieve leg pain, facet joint injections, neurostimulator implants, Acupuncture, Pregabalin, Duloxetine, Magnesium Topical cream, wow! I have had 4 different neurologists and one Pain Management Physician that have treated me during my illness, to no avail. Finally, like manna from the sky, the last neurologist I consulted asked if I had tried “Qutenza” (Capsaicin 8% topical system) She indicated she would first need to get insurance approval to obtain and apply; and that She would call me when that was approved. I have Medicare and Blue Shield as the supplemental coverage for the 20% not covered by Medicare. About a month later all was ready and the first application of Qutenza was performed at her office, it was left on my feet for 30 minutes and then washed off. It was explained to me that I would need a total of 4 applications - 3 months apart. Also that most patients would feel some relief on the numbness, tingling, and the feeling of hot and cold on the feet. I am really fortunate thank God, as that relief came the following day and to day, 5 weeks later I am still experiencing that welcome relief that lets me sleep soundly for 8 hours or more, where my sleep was at best 5 hours if lucky. I am 88 years young and hope that this remedy will continue to provide me that relief until I take that final trip. The neurologist also has had me on Pregabalin (Lyrica) 100 Mg and Duloxetine (Cymbalta) 20 Mg; both once a day, to help with the other issues such as leg pain. I understand this might not help everyone but I post it hoping it will help as many as you as it can. Blessed be all as you continue your journey of life.
