Sudden Onset Esotropia w/ Double vision, Fatigue, and Migraines
Hello! I am a 28 year old female who started struggling with double vision at the beginning of the year. I was referred to a vision therapy place to help from my regular eye doctor. A few months after that - I noticed I also started having alternating esotropia in both eyes. (R) Eye was significantly worse. Vision Therapy referred me to a neurologist due to the sudden onset of symptoms and worsening. I feel like I've had ever head test under the sun, and they have all came back fine. My next one is an EEG, but after that - I think I've had them all! About a month ago - I also started experiencing excruciating migraines and my (r) eye vision dulling even after a prism sticker was applied to help with the double vision. Every doctor I go to essentially says "I don't know - lets refer you here." It has been beyond frustrating. Anyone experienced something like this?

Savannahm2, Wow you are I quite young to have eye issues. So you went to an ophthalmologist, eye MD? And they ran a bunch of tests? Neurology seems like a good next step since they deal in migraines too. Do you have a primary care doctor coordinating your care? It is good you are getting referred out to different specialties. If a physician runs all the test and they are good, then you would be referred to someone else. By the process of elimination hopefully they can figure it out. Don’t give up doctors do the best they can and as long as you have physicians that will continue to refer you out, you are in good hands. Prayers for their help and your recovery

1 ReactionLuckily, I work at a doctor's office so I have a pretty good relationship w/ my PCP. This whole thing kicked off with a visit with my regular Ophthalmologist due to the the sudden double vision. So far - I have been to both Neurology and Neuro Ophthalmology and have gotten no reasoning for my issues which means every test has come back find (Which is a blessing), but frustrating overall. Thank you for your prayers!
