Diagnosed in January of 2019 with CML and have been taking Gleevec (Imatinib) to help keep things in check. Some side effects (but manageable) from the medication but it seems to be helping as my blood work results have improved and a recent bone biopsy showed improvement as well. For now I’m having blood work done every 2 months and a Dr consult every 4 months.

Great to hear your having improvements with Gleevec. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of side effects are you experiencing?

What is your current bcr reading and how often are you tested. I was diagnosed in December 2022 with a reading of 42% and I have been on imatinib. My current reading
is 0.3% and my doctor indicated that I would need to go on stronger meds to get a deeper response.
