Anyone have excessive sweating with their kidney failure?
Past few days I have waking up drenched in sweat and being outside not doing anything and my hair would end up soaking wet from sweat, noticed it getting worse, anyone else have this with their kidney failure?

2 ReactionsI have not been diagnosed with kidney disease but I sweat like that and it’s definitely a problem. Wearing a sweat band is helpful to keep it from falling in your face; also the best products I’ve tried are made by Carpe.

1 Reaction'Crying eyes'...I haven't experienced abnormal sweating. What I do have is constantly watering eyes! Never had it before. I take an allergy med and also eye drops for what is called 'dry eyes'...well mine are never dry! The dry eye med does not seem to help, in some cases it is just as bad or worse. I have heard of puffy eyes in the morning (I have not had swelling in my legs or anywhere), but this is all day long most days, some days not as bad as others. Can this be related to my stage 3b ckd? Has anyone else experienced this issue?

1 Reaction@robertbitterli I wonder if the allergy med &/or the “dry eye” eye drop is off. I would ask the Dr. that treats your allergies or an eye Dr. Do you have these kinds of providers?

Nearly every evening it starts prior to going to bed and my clothes and bedding are actually wet from the sweat on my body. I feel like I may have been walking in the rain, at the pool or didn't dry after taking a shower. It is really bad and I flucuate from being in Stage 3B to 3C. My diabetes is in good control and I did not get Type 2 Diabetes until I was told I was in Stage 3 Kidney failure. My eGFR flucuates between 40 to 30 and I only have one functioning kidney and was just dx'd with CCR. I'm so scared. Waiting to see another doctor hopefully soon. Living in a community that only has a Veteran's Clinic and not a hospital takes longer due to having to get approval to see a doctor in the community. I'm 100% TDIU and 70% Service Connected; waiting for a Toxic Chemical Test soon.

I also have constant watering eye and crusty eyelashes and sides of my eyelids. Drives me crazy. I also am 3B CKD
