Any tips for bowel after effects of proton therapy and ADT?

Husband is finishing his 8 week treatment of proton therapy and is on the ADT....stage IV, (8 Gleason score and maybe a 9)metastasized to pelvic bone and a lymph gland. Question: He is having considerable issues with excessive fatigue, bladder and bowel issues. What is the best way to manage the after effects of treatment, with urinary urgency, loose stools, etc. and how long will this last? We have a vacation planned in a couple of weeks after his last proton therapy and I'm wondering if that is a good idea. Managing these symptoms on an airplane might be tough. Thoughts?

For help with diarrhea, I took Psyllium fiber supplement and a probiotic (Gut Restore from Ancient Nutrition). For bowel urgency and frequency and bleeding, I have taken Sucralfate enemas and Mesalamine suppositories and am now taking hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Each has limited success. Wishing you and him well!
