Weight Gain with Evenity

Some have said they gained some weight when taking Evenity. Any idea at about what shots you noticed this? I am now going to be taking shots #9 and I do notice about a 4 to 5 lb. gain. Anyone else notice a gain in weight and if so, when was it noticeable?

Thank you for connecting! Side effects for me are headache, stiff and swollen knees and fingers and less energy. Your post has alerted me to get my Synthroid dose checked. Reported Dexa readings are encouraging! Has anyone found a brand of calcium plus magnesium and D3 in a large enough dose of what we need to feed the Evenity so that I don't have to be a daily pill counter? Can't take calcium on Thyroid medication and by afternoon I can forget some of the doses.

@mrscwjellybean why can’t you take calcium on thyroid meds? No doctor has ever told me that.

@mrscwjellybean I can't get my wedding ring off, my knees are especially tight, breathing is more shallow sometimes, and I have lots more PVC's in my heart. I remain hopeful that I am keeping my body from rolling over in bed in ten years and breaking. It will be worth Evenity's shortcomings if the DEXA is good and we stay whole!

@kjhill My label says no calcium for four hours after taking the thyroid.

This could be me. My walking is at least as much as yours. I watch what I eat and I have barely fluctuated in my weight or clothing size in almost twenty years. I’ve done 8 rounds of evinity and have gained ten pounds in six months. Literally nothing I do moves the needle on the weight gain - eating less, moving more, doesn’t matterz

@huviepoo I have gained roughly 18 pounds in the 8 months I have been on this. So frustrating!

This could be me. My walking is at least as much as yours. I watch what I eat and I have barely fluctuated in my weight or clothing size in almost twenty years. I’ve done 8 rounds of evinity and have gained ten pounds in six months. Literally nothing I do moves the needle on the weight gain - eating less, moving more, doesn’t matterz

@huviepoo I have also gained weight. 20 pounds. Last shot next week. I hope the weight comes off after this year of shots.
