I’m struggling with that currently, along with my lumbar stenosis and other spine issues. So far I’ve read that physical therapy may help.

maybe, maybe not. You will need to see a doctor for an evaluation. Had mine most of my life. hip and back surgery fixed it. but then I got older and it comes back as I need another back surgery. Mines from a scoliosis.
Get out there and exercise and you'll find out!

I went many years SI joint pain, Doctors always thought I was "drug seeking"they would say..get some rest ICE/HEAT and Motrin. Finally diagnosed having Ankylosing Spondilitis. at VA Denver, I was prescribed a Biologic and found relief. Does the pain get better with movement and worse at night..? If yes it might be worth asking your doctors. A rheumatologist specializes in Ankylosing Spondilitis diagnosis....I hope you don't have AS, but most Doctors miss it. Otherwise known as (axSpA or Spondyloarthritis)

I have a bad SI joint that caused me severe pain. I received two steroid injections about ten days apart, and that provided me with complete relief for a decade. You might consider trying that!
