@dianenes360 Which med can you not use? I have glaucoma and macular degeneration risk, but am using leflunomide successfully for now. My ophthalmologist is very watchful, twice a year. And I am to report ANY changes immediately. Is this the drug you are avoiding?

I was told i should not take hydroxchlorquine. apparently it clouds the back of your eye and makes the monitoring of macular degeneration more difficult.
my dr said my next medication would be sulfasalazine. it is a many-pilled and side-effect drug. i am looking for a simplier drug that is effective for early RA.
