Do they turn a waxy looking white when they get cold?

It helps to keep the digits warm because heat increases circulation. For the same reason flexing those digits helps. Hard to flex those toes though. And wool socks itch.

I wear cotton socks to bed. My feet are cold in the summer as well as winter.

caroljeand, cold feet are miserable. I don't even know if thick socks help with heat coming from inside. Heating pads help though. And if you are really crazy there are battery socks. https://www.amazon.com/s

As long as I have my feet in socks I’m fine but in the winter the cold goes all the way up my calves. Hard to find knee socks anymore but did find slouch socks that provide pretty good coverage when extended.
Thanks!

When I was a kid my fingers would turn waxy white from the cold. Doesn't happen anymore. Not sure why.

@caroljeand I wear wool socks from Camel Mill. They are a little pricey, but my son, his wife, and son-in-law who are firefighters swear by them in their boots. They do keep me toasty!

Hi,
My feet are always freezing!
I go to Dick’s sporting goods store and buy baseball socks. They go up pretty high and keep my feet and calves warm at night but not too hot. I get a too big size so they aren’t too tight and restrict blood flow.
Feel well!

I've never had any condition that woke me up at night. Did have anxiety issues that made it difficult to sleep or get to sleep.
