@bren6490 If I recall correctly, you have has a finger joint replaced (PIP surgery), is the problem with that joint? If so, it is important to consult with your surgeon and hand therapist, because there is a window during which correction is possible, and it can include a combination of treatments - ranging from home stretching (many times a day) to therapies to break up scar tissue to bracing to hold it straight.
Or is this in another arthritic joint?
Have you talked to the doc or OT about your concern?

PS I ask this as I sit stretching & strengthening my wrist that was replaced 8 weeks ago - the OT says I will need to be vigilant and keep doing this twice a day for up to 6 months for best results.

@sueinmn I am going to buy a brace that slowly stretches it straight! I couldn’t afford therapy but right after the surgery my surgeon told me I’d probably never be able to straighten it fully and he never said why!
