@sueinmn I am going to buy a brace that slowly stretches it straight! I couldn’t afford therapy but right after the surgery my surgeon told me I’d probably never be able to straighten it fully and he never said why!

@bren6490 Before you invest in a device for stretching your finger straight maybe you would like to take a look at this video -
These are the exercises a hand therapist would show you once the doctor clears you after surgery. The results are realized slowly... exercises need to be done 3 or more times a day for several months after surgery
Active exercises are more effective in helping you make permanent mobility gains than a passive device, so in most cases should be tried first. For the price of one of these splints, you could book a self-pay appointment with a Certified Hand Therapist to learn the best exercises to do, and the proper way to do them.
Can you have the surgeon refer you to a Hand Therapist?
