Femoral Nerve damage
Good morning
I had a botched abdominal surgery 4 years ago. Ive been struggling with pain. For years it went undiagnosed until recently because it's getting worse. EMG test found that I have femoral nerve damage above the inguinal ligament due to the surgery and my lateral femoral cutaneous nerve is "buried" into the ligament. Does anyone have any recommendations on a specialist anywhere in the country to help me?? Thanks

Hello @shawnpeters, If I'm not mistaken, I think femoral nerve damage is a specific type of peripheral nerve damage. It might be worth seeking help with a neurosurgeon at the Peripheral Nerve Clinic at Mayo Clinic Arizona or possibly Rochester - https://www.mayoclinic.org/departments-centers/peripheral-nerve-clinic/sections/overview/ovc-20510295.
