What is a time, activity, place, etc., that brought peace/serenity?
SCUBA diving always brought me peace. I think it was because I had to stay present and the beauty of being underwater.

I ask no more than classical music on radio; it sends me instantly in a calm relaxing place, away from the the noise that sometimes becomes overbearing.

Sounds like you're describing the lovely Pacific N.W., where I live. Also sounds idealic. ☺️
I used to pick all those berries, and when we lived at the coast I picked Salmon berries too.
Still harvesting Blackberries right now. Who wants pie? 🥧

Please yes. Warm with good vanilla ice cream on top. Find memories of traveling up the coast in the summer.

3 ReactionsI remember the few times I was able to just walk and walk for miles it seemed on one of those PNW beaches. Not many people around. At times when the ocean was roaring, I would sing as loud as I could, knowing no one could hear me. I would run and dance and I could very much appreciate the beauty, and power of God's creation. I miss that.

8 ReactionsOut of the mouths of babes - This afternoon, my 7 year old grandson sat under the skylight at the dining room table with his paints and dinosaur models. I was working nearby in the kitchen, his brother and grandpa off in other rooms. As I handed him his brushes, he grinned at me and said "This is SO peaceful!"

7 ReactionsI was at the park this morning, not really in a good place emotionally, but trying to be in the moment. The park is pretty with trees and a river.
Looking at the trees, and how different they are from each other. Some with broken limbs, stunted by a taller tree, or have grown off center to capture the sun’s angle. Imperfect yet beautiful with shade, homes for the birds, food for the squirrels.
It was comforting to feel all was as it should be.

3 ReactionsMy wife and I just got back from a day at the ocean, the only other creatures were seals who were watching us as we watched them. We cooked a simple meal on the Coleman and just sat and enjoyed. That is peace!
