I had 2 unexplained falls, light headed, and some balance issues. The physical therapist did some tests and figured out very quickly that it was orthostatic hypotension. I would stand to quickly or if I was even taking a hot shower I would get dizzy. The PT showed me how my blood pressure would drop from 130/70 to 90/50 likely causing my falls. Been an awareness thing for me, flex my leg muscles and fists 2 or 3 times before standing and moving a little slower.
Probably totally unrelated to your issue.
