Searching for cause & hoping to find others

I am searching for the cause of my fibromyalgia.
In 1958 I let the doctor give me a vaccination or flu shot for something called pig flu.
Back at that time, it was a flu that was quite scary. The doctor came to the house & gave me and my husband both the shot. We both got sick, but my husband was only mildly sick. I was bedfast for about a week and was so sick in bed that I would pass out and wake up drenched in sweat repeatedly. It took me almost a week to recover.
I had an identical relapse about 7 years later & ended up in bed for about a week. I went back to work and 3 days later I ended up in bed again terribly sick for an additional week.
No one in the house was sick but me. My husband & 2 children were not sick.
Ever since then I have had fibromyalgia. I wonder if it was the shot (vaccination?) that gave me fibro???
Wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?
Also wondering if anyone can remember having a bad experience from one of the yearly flu vaccinations?

No worries, actually easy to read. Yes it is a precursor sometimes for fibromyalgia. Something in the nervous system doesn’t quite shut off. Trauma also fires off the nervous system. For me it was being in a fight/flight defense everyday day for years that screwed up my system.

I know what possibly was to blame causing my fibromyalgia. In my 20's was in a terrible relationship, a bomb went off near to where I used to live in London and I got severe Malaria in India plus several bouts of severe gastroenteritis. I was so unwell, drugged to the hilt. That was over 30 yrs ago, gastro problems ever since then about 5 yrs ago started getting symptoms of fibromyalgia although didn't know back then. I then had COVID then pain literally every where ever since. I did have the vaccines they offered me here in the UK. Make of it what you will.. I had definite trauma, illness and abusive relationship. I think my 20's made me vulnerable, my 50's fibromyalgia came along. Thanks for sharing everyone.
