I have PPMS and crohns and currently take two biologics (ocrevus and entyvio). I dealt with sepsis in Jan of this year and feel what caused it was the combo of biologics shutting my immune system down and constipation from the crohns. Since then my GI tract doesn’t appear to be functioning the same and my gastro doesn’t seem interested.Has anyone else had issues while on two biologics or entyvio specifically….

@brhb2011 - welcome to Mayo Clinic connect. I moved your post to join others who were discussing biologics and Crohn's so you could interact with them in this discussion:

Did your PCP or your gastroenterologist think the sepsis was due to your biologics?

@brhb2011 I was on Entyvio for a short time. I had a bad reaction to either it or possibly another medication. (Sometimes is hard to tell if you have more than one heavy duty drugs in your system. ) I’m fairly certain entyvio caused my GI tract to stop functioning. It caused my stools to be ribbon thin. I’m still struggling with constipation after a SIBO. I’m thankful a Nateralpath dr is helping bc GI dr was not. I’m so sorry you are dealing with so much! Sending prayers and good thoughts.
