When I tried to stop smoking, honestly the hardest part was finding something to actually replace the routine of lighting up, not just the physical addiction. I couldn't stick to just chewing gum or mints the whole time either; it never really hit the spot for me. Eventually, I decided to switch to vaping since it keeps my hands and mouth busy and gives a bit of the same sensation but without the smoke and smell that bothered my family. I think the key is having a backup for when the cravings hit, especially during stressful moments at home.

My personal favorite device has been the one I recently got, mainly because it's compact and doesn't annoy people with any lingering odor. I've got a Smok Nord 5 from https://www.dampfi.ch/smok-nord-5-podset.html and it’s done a pretty good job stopping me from running to the store for cigarettes. You might want to look into something like that if you're open to it.
