Possibly an intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN)
I have had nausea, indigestion, bloating, and feeling cruddy for 16 months. I had an abdominal CT scan done 16 months ago which didn't show much.
I had another abdominal CT scan a week ago that that showed: Incidentally noted subcentimeter cystic lesion in the pancreatic uncinate process, possibly an IPMN. 0.8 cm hypodensity in the pancreatic uncinate process. No
ductal dilatation or adjacent inflammatory changes.
I have not heard from my doctor yet. Does anyone know what this means?

No they did not. My gall bladder was remover years prior to whipple.
@nocancer
How are you managing without a gallbladder and Whipple? Has it affected your appetite, what foods you can eat, digestion of food, weight? Are you on insulin or pancreatic enzymes?
I have requested spleen sparing surgery but my surgeon cannot guarantee that he can leave my spleen intact until he opens me up.
Gallon Bladder removed 20 yes ago. As far as eating ,im taking creon with every bite or so called meal. Im 3 mo post whipple. Very strict diet,no fats or sugar. Finally going to bathroom, pooping regular just this week got off of motility pill. Some days I take stool softeners. Appetite is great now,but you have to be careful of what and how much you eat at one time. Its been quite the adventure for me but I am getting better! Dont loose hope and ask God for the right surgeons and make darn sure you get at least 3 opinions from 3 different surgeon s. God Bless and feel free to ask more. Remember this is my road ,everyone is different!!!
