Metastasized bladder cancer. With nephrostomy tubes, pluerx catheter

Posted by saramarc @saramarc, 1 day ago

I’m trying to find others who are, currently or in past, have metastasized bladder cancer and used padcev and keytruda. This person is also dealing with nephrostomy tubes, and a pluerx catheter. Gene test done on tumor and is Her2 positive. How did you or are you getting through it? Any suggestions on what else can be done.

Hi. I am currently receiving Padcev and Keytruda for metastatic urothelial carcinoma to the liver. My cancer started in my left ureter in 2022, and is being treated the same way as bladder cancer. I was nearly 4 years cancer free when it was discovered on my liver in May of 2026. Treatment with Padcev and Keytruda started in June. I have had a severe rash from treatment, which was treated with steroids and is under control so far. Early side effects were nausea, joint pain, and eye pain, which have gotten better. I am exhausted all the time, have shortness of breath and have bouts of dizziness. I just have to pace myself. My tongue is a total wreck, and nothing tastes good. I have to pretty much make myself eat. No tubes or catheter.
