Yesterday a quiet knock on the door brought a medical equipment company’s nice young man, AND a brand new Neuro Walker made by U-Step! It felt like Christmas morning:) He loves it. It removes the fear in each step. It has what PD has interfered with in his brain back into something he can see: a little laser line as a target for where his feet should aim to step. He’s far from that target right now (taking baby steps), but he understands the goal.
