@kenzie I’ve not heard of PEPLOC. Has your provider recommended it or prescribed it? If so, ask questions. You could also ask a pharmacist about it if it is an Over the counter thing (OTC). There are numerous ways to research side effects.

Have been taking Dexiland for several years and would like to get off this drug. Any suggestions how to do it? Tried many ways, nothing works.

@cehunt57 Just wanted to share our experiences with taking meds for stomach issues. I am 64 & my Mom is 83, and she has Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 4. Being a person over 50 years old we have to watch over and protect our Bone Health.
Mom & I both were taking Prilosec 50mg 2x a day for years, when we found out that a Proton Pump Inhibitor such as Prilosec can effect her kidneys and our bone density in a very negative way. God forbid if my Mom were to have a fall like she has had in the past, she might be rendered immobile with a fractured hip or spine now. My doctor changed my prescription to prescription Pepcid 20Mg. Which seems to work just fine. And it was cheaper to buy the generic version at the same 20Mg for cheaper than the prescription. Just a no thought…
