PMR - What do you wish you had known . . .
Each of us has been on a journey with a disease that is not well understood, common but not identical symptoms and the steroid treatment is scary and problematic with its own side effects.
What is the one or two things you wish you had known early on that helped you put the pieces together and helped you better understand what is going on with you and your body.
Please share so we can learn from each other.

@jabrown0407 wait!?! Are you my neighbor, lol! Do you have pics of me today with ice cream in my hand, hahaha! Ok you caught me! Yes, you are absolutely right about the sugar and the carbs. I do eat very clean and can tell a big difference in my daily health since making it a priority. I use the Yuka app to help me select healthy products at the store. If you’re not using it yet give it a go and let me know what you think. Take care!
I buy organic in stores. Started 25 years ago following breast cancer. Purchase very little processed foods and no ultra processed foods. Been at it long enough to know what I should be buying. I firmly believe we are what we eat. Food is our fuel that keeps our systems running.
I wish I had known possible scenarios if what this PMR adventure might be like. Although different fir everybody, there are certain experiences that most have. This site has given me much of what I need to help navigate the future and hope to manage my day to day PMR.
