I am not in Maine but, I do have Lynch Syndrome. I would be happy to answer questions.

While we wait for other members to come into this Discussion that you started I'd like to say that hearing that you are positive for Lynch Syndrome must have come as a huge shock. May I ask if you learned this from the pathology report after having a hysterectomy? Did you have an opportunity to talk with physicians about the diagnosis? I ask this because when I had a hysterectomy 7 years ago for endometrial cancer (endometrioid adenocarcinoma, Grade 1, Stage 1a) and my tissue was sent to pathology I know that they tested for a number of disorders including Lynch Syndrome ( I was negative).
What plans has your cancer care team discussed with you? What are your options going forward? And what questions do you have that our members can help you with?
