@shashig You know, I was curious about this "pushme-pullyou" thing. So, I took the device for a test run; With the device tuned on and running, and just tiny bit of water in the reservoir, I noticed a small stream of water coming from one tube. I then put my finger over the opening of the other tube. Guess what? Darn thing sucked down on finger! There it is... both pushing saline out one tube, and sucking said saline from the other tube.

@heisenberg34 Thank you, Dr. Heisenberg! You have more scientific curiosity than most of the doctors I've seen! I'm still doing a basic manual rinse but am happy with a nasal wash bottle I like better than NeilMed and even my little neti pot. It's called Maoever Nasal 300.

The nasal tip is U-shaped, which seems more efficient than NM's vertical wash. Not insignificantly, the materials are food-grade, BPA-free. NM doesn't specify that. $9.99 on Amazon. I use one tsp. salt-baking soda mix that I keep in a jar, so no need to spend on refill packets. At some point, I may purchase their battery-operated unit for $69.99. This brand is Chinese, no surprise. I find it hilarious that...is the company really named after Mao?????
