Primary Anorgasmia/Female Orgasmic Dysfunction 18F
Are there any women who are experiencing this? I’m a virgin. I live in the uk and want to start getting help because I’m frustrated. I don’t know what to say to my GP. I’m so young what could possibly be the problem. I haven’t been sexually assaulted either so I have no trauma. Whenever I get ‘close’ to having an orgasm with my fingers or my bullet vibrator my body physically jerks my hand away preventing me from experiencing an orgasm. If my fingers are inside then they get pushed out too. I don’t need a pelvic floor therapist and I don’t have vaginismus either. I just can’t orgasm no matter what despite being so overly aroused. I feel like I have perpetual blue balls. I’ve been trying for 4 years to orgasm. What can I do to mitigate this? What do I tell my GP?

Good for you that you are addressing this. Starting with your doctor is wise. I had something similar years ago, though I was not a virgin. I was attending college and I went to the library and checked out several books on human sexuality. These were scientific based books. I felt that learning the physiology of female sexual response was crucial for me. I’m a logical thinker so for me this was important. With a thorough reading of the material, I had immediate success. Best of luck with your search for answers.

1 ReactionI'm thinking not a pelvic floor therapist, but maybe a counseling therapist that you can talk about these frustrations. I don't think there's anything physically wrong. You are young and your life will unwind. Hard to feel so impatient! Maybe you feel impatient for a lover? Maybe there's something holding you back that a good therapist might help you discover.
I'm impressed with your insight about this, and all of your attempts to fix it! When I was young I didn't orgasm. I even got married and still nothing. Then after 3 years in a strange marriage, we had to go to a surprise party. The surprise was on everyone: I fell in love at first sight with a woman my age. I left the party with her! Okay, this was why I didn't orgasm, how could I know I was only attracted to women?
I'm thinking about all these emotional, personal history, attraction....because all of it adds up to desire. If desire is missing....no orgasm. I've heard it said the brain is the biggest sex organ.
