@ja963 I am still here. No primary has been found. Tonsil was negative. A neck dissection the next month found no cancer cells, so I went on a 3 month follow up & November will be my 6 month follow scan. At 3 months I had a NavDX blood test which was also negative.

1 ReactionHi @edelec40
Does the Galleri blood test tell you if it does show cancer tell you the location of it?
The Galleri Blood test checks for the presence on cancer DNA , and to date I have only found Brigham Hospital in Mass has an early detection clinic that will accept the results , if you do go this route and they do detect a cancer , it will tell you what area, give you a percentile, and if it detects cancer they will give you a free retest. You will need to pay about $900 out of pocket for the test

2 ReactionsMy pre surgery Natera test was negative. Mayo team was not concerned by that. They said they send the tumor sample DNA to Natera for future testing comparisons. So Natera has my cancer on file. So all post surgical tests are compared to that tumor sample. I have to say it concerned and confused me at first. But there seem to be a lot of things about cancer that I've learned to take on faith. This is one of them.
