Should I start HRT again at 60?

@hello1234 I started HRT at 61. It was prescribed by my gynecologist. As I started researching HRT, I asked my primary care doctor if she had any recommendations of gynecologists who specialized in menopause. She said she didn’t know of any but referred me to a gynecologist who didn’t do obstetrics. I went in for a first visit with a lot of questions, she answered them all before I could ask and sent me home with HRT. Keep advocating for yourself.

@tanyamarie 😊
Thank you so much!
Have you heard about the 10 year rule? Of course I went into menopause 25 years ago. Is that a problem for starting HRT after waiting so long? Do you think it is a cancer concern after 10 years or something else? I am so happy to hear that your HRT is helping in so many areas of your life. Hormones are a wonderful thing!
