Me...last night I was feeling good, calm. Realy. But this morning I'm anxious, my muscles are tense and sore. It's a mystery for me. Its the same thing every day. It helps me a bit to know that I will have better moments later today. So for now, I'm trying to eat my breakfast. I'll make my calm exercices and a bit of tai chi(thanks to @lioness and @pankaj 😊) I usually do a bit of meditation, (but I prefer to focus on the body than on my mind) Calm exercices also use deap breathing and it helps.
Manno I have found they really have changed my mood by the slow ,deep breathing you add alot of oxygen to that area you are thinking about. That's what I do after bkft, lunch, and before bedtime I don't know if its the night time one but I sleep more restful and my hair not so messed up haha in morning .Hope it helps you like it has for me.
@lioness- I some times feel very anxious in the mornings too. I take my CBD oil first thing, before I even leave my bedroom. It does help. I also find that what triggers mine a lot is if I have an appointment that I don't want to go to. I find that there are always triggers that set off anxiety. It's the nature of the beast.
Perhaps we feel more anxious because our minds are clearer in the early AM, so the devil can get us before anything else does? lol Listed below are some sites that may help you and a link to a worksheet that might help you find out what triggers you have so that you can explore how to control them. Hi, its my second day on citalopram 10mg. I take it in the morning with breakfast. Yesterday was ok. Last night was the first night. I did fall asleep ok. But I woke up at 4:00. Anxious, tensed, almost pannicky, worst than before. I didnt feel good at all. Im a little better now. I did take my dose this morning. I guess it will be the same tomorrow. Hope it doesnt last to long..
@manno: Your anxiety needs to be controlled till the Citalopram starts working. Please talk to your doctor about prescribing an anti-anxiety drug on a short-term basis, so you don't feel anxious in the morning and sleep well at night. 1 mg of Ativan at night is not enough. Control of anxiety is very important and should not be neglected. You have suffered enough. In addition, perhaps your dose of Citalopram needs to be increased to 20 mg/day. Don't worry too much about the Benzodiazepines. They have an important role in controlling anxiety. Please keep posting updates on your progress. God bless you.
Thanks @pankaj. My doctor did prescribe ativan anough so I can take up to 3 x 1mg. "If needed" To be honnest I think I m a bit surprised by the intensity of all this. And I ve always try to stick to 1mg. But now youre right it doesnt work... Ive just take 1mg .
Thanks again
