@barbyb50 - how were your results with the density test , and how are you doing currently? Was the injections worthwhile as far as building bone, or ? Sending you a huge hug....

1 ReactionHi,
I finished the 12th evenity shot a month ago, and now on prolia. Prolia
needs to be given 30 days or so after ending evenity.
Pleased to report that the bone density was much improved. I had it in
January.
I am concerned a little re side effects from prolia. Had it May 22. Some
joint pain and headache. Will watch how frequently and often. Somewhat
concerned about how long have to be on it….
But better than fractures as dr indicated I was at severe risk.
Thanks for reaching out… any tips and advice from each other helps !

2 ReactionsI get calf and thigh muscle sorness/ spasms, about to get my 8th injection tomorrow. My doc said lots of water, gentle stretching and walking. The walking seems to help most.
Is just had my 5th Injection of Evenity and am experiencing severe neck pain. It is like a stiff neck that moves from side to side. I had the shot on a Monday and also experienced a fever Monday night before the neck issues which started Saturday night.
Previously I had a feeling of ickiness after the first three shots that only lasted one day. I had redness and itchiness at the injection sites all three times. The fourth shot I had no problems.
Anyone know if muscle pain and tightness is a side effect? I need to struggle through as I need to build bone.
Any thoughts appreciated.

1 ReactionI recently finished all 12 months of Evenity. Around month six I did have bad joint pain in my elbows but now it's gone. My dexa scan did improve and I am hoping it won't go downhill from here. Currently on Prolia with only one injection so far.
