@packh1 You may be a medical anomaly. I have not taken these meds, but have experienced new, worrisome changes in my body when my health or medications changed, so I can relate.

I did some research and learned that the increase in blood glucose and A1-C while on these 3 meds is not usual. Jardiance is actually used to lower blood glucose in Type II diabetes, and metoprolol has a known propensity for slightly lowering it too. Only spironolactone is ever reported to SLIGHTLY increase fasting blood glucose levels. So I would say your cardiologist's dismissal of the drugs as a cause is normal, but you are still left to deal with it!

Perhaps whatever health incident pushed you into VTACH and put you on this path also affected your metabolism and pushed you from pre-diabetic to Type II? Maybe you need to talk to your GP about next steps?
