@joglow,
my personal bias is that these gentlemen selling minerals and vitamins for osteoporosis are making a lot of money from a vulnerable population. I listen to the videos, but prefer to find the supplemental ingredients they recommend with more moderate pricing.
I find Ellis, McCormick and especially Lucas intelligent and compelling. https://www.youtube.com/watch
I take vitamin k2, d3, low dose calcium, magnesium orotate. Adequate protein intake is important for bones. You might consider strontium citrate.
But I also take Forteo. It's possible that you would qualify for $80 pens with RXAdvocates if you decided to take my favorite drug, Forteo https://therxadvocates.com/

@joglow ocean essence on amazon
I take citracal. Was recommended by my Endocrinologist.
Has anyone taken supplements and since had an updated bone scan that showed improvement since starting supplements? Thanks

1 Reaction@gently - I agree that we have to research well and be discerning at a time when a population is now trying to figure out what we should of/could of done to stay on the preventative side of bone deterioration. Both of my daughters are now well informed so they are not caught off-guard and they've requested and received early DXA scans b/c of my OP diagnosis.
After much research, I told a friend who didn't want to go on Fosamax about strontium citrate. At the end of one year, she went from OP in her hips to barely osteopenia (almost in the Normal range). Now that I'm off of Evenity, I am also taking SC as well as HRT. My friend did not take any HRT. I had started HRT a few months before the last Evenity injection.

Are you confident that this is enough to maintain your evenity gains?
@gravity3 - Not sure I would use the word confident at this point, but willing to try this option. The reprieve from headaches, bone and muscle ache and lethargy from Evenity feels wonderful. Not sure I'm ready to swap those out for potential gird and muscle ache with Fosamax. Also, I will track the direction of bone turnover markers to make sure things are going in the right direction. I can always stop the SC mineral and take the Fosamax (while continuing Liftmor-type exercises, etc).
