Restorex Users: Any advice?
So, I'll soon start using a Restorex Device as part of a medical study. Any tips on how to use or make it more comfortable???
My sexual function doctor said I would be an excellent candidate for an ongoing study he is involved with, so I applied and got accepted. Since I'll be in the study, I'll get a free Restorex device, which are stupid expensive.
Candidly, not excited about doing this. But, if it helps prevent fibrosis and shrinkage...then I'm in. I figured if I'm in the study, I'll have to actually do the therapy.
So, for you Restorex users, any good tips?
• Boy, you would need a private place...and seems like that could be super awkward when traveling to visit family.
• Do you all wrap with tape? I think I saw somewhere where some people just wrap the tape over the clamp.
• Does it hurt?

A weapon.. you’re funny! The Restorex was low airport stress compared to my implant! It has been 60 days since that was installed and I have traveled four times (pilot type). I am TSA-pre and thus far …have only gone through the metal detector, not the body scan. The small pieces of stainless do not set off the metal detector, but I understand the body scan will see it! They gave me a card to hand to the TSA except that the TSA wants nothing in your hands so the card goes through the luggage Xray machine.
At some point I will get the scanner and they are going to see suspicious metal in my “netherlands” and my card will be trapped on the luggage conveyor. Could be an interesting and awkward discussion depending on the TSA agent involved! 😉

1 ReactionI've got the RestoreX device, and the curve is up and left, so I'm assuming I need to do down traction and right traction?
I did get a comfort grip as well, which works well, though it does pinch a bit even with tape. Does anyone know if this will affect how well the RestoreX works, or should I go back to the clamp?

1 Reaction@cooliouk I'm no expert, but there are videos on the Restorex site for Peyronies adjustments with the clamp.
Quick update a month into using the Restorex device for the study and two questions. Positive result for sure. I'm definitely making gains, so it is worth the time. It's slow, but I definitely noticed a definitely turning point in week three. It's slow going, but I've extended the Restorex device by two clicks so far. I's working, so that is awesome!
I've been traveling for the last several weeks, so I didn't bring my vacuum pump during that time, just the Restorex. So, I just tried the vacuum for the 1st time in weeks and the difference in length was very noticeable after four weeks of Restorex use.
This 2nd change is also significant to me. It took way fewer pumps on the vacuum device to get a full erection that felt closer to old days. I used to have to pump quite a bit to get to the point of full erection. Before Restorex, I would have to pump pump pump, then pump pump pump to almost pain the point of pain and pressure to get to full erection. This first time back on the pump after weeks off of it was surprising. It just took a few pumps and my larger full erection came about so much quicker. This seems like a big deal to me.
Not doing a brag post here. Just reporting my results early on in the process. For me, Restorex is definitely helping me. But, I know everyone is different and the process is super individual.
Questions:
• For Restorex use, I've only been able to fit in 30 minutes a day (especially since I've been traveling). I have been doing it almost every day (meets the study requirement). Question: Would two 30 minutes sessions be better?
• Wondering if I should combine Restorex and pump daily?
Thanks again for all the good advice!
