Question-when you get up to use the restroom, you mentioned the timer stopping. Does the whole machine shut off?
It’s really better if it doesn’t keep running while you have the mask off, otherwise that would result in major leaks in the report. and the annoying red face.
Does it also automatically start up again when you put the mask back on? There was a feature on my bipap that would sense if the mask was on/off, and turn the machine on/off accordingly. It was so sensitive that at the dme’s office, all the lady did was bump the mask on the table and the machine started. I asked her to turn the feature off and she did. I wouldn’t have known if that hadn’t happened. They turn on some features without telling you.
Depending on how sensitive your machine is, if it’s getting turned on or off somehow while you’re not using it, that could be the source of your leakage.
