CLL, Spontaneous Regression
Diagnosed with CLL at age 50 from blood tests and bone marrow my disease progressed slowly for 10 years without treatment.
After 10 years my blood counts started improving and 15 years after my diagnosis no signs of CLL were present in my blood.
This is referred to as a Spontaneous Regression and rare.
Now at age 75 next month, I've stayed regressed for 10 years but my oncologist won't call it a cure and I only need to have blood taken once a year.
Has anyone else experienced this or know of others that have regressed spontaneously?

I hope you simply smoulder for years and then have it regress totalling back into the born marrow like me. While taking a break from the heat gardening today here in the Ozarks I just read your reply. Today at age 77 my blood counts are still free from active CLL. We're having a hot spell too, but we stay about 10 degrees cooler then most of Texas, we're at 90 right now. I'm sitting inside right now with ice cubes in a large cotton dish towel tied around my neck inside my coller to drip and cool me. i can last much longer outside in the heat if I do this. I accept the fact I am crazy when it comes to gardening. No use fighting it;I can't stop myself.
You have wonderful choices of foods to grown, I love the sweetness of the Meyer Lemon (impossible to find in stores here). I grew with an orchard in So Cal. My father was a passionate gardener and we had about 25 various fruit trees including 2 types of figs which were quickly eaten by family members. We all loved them! I'm more into garden landscaping than crop plants, but I have several tomato plants setting ripe fruit now (so far no tomato worms) along with green peppers. I have no doubt that communing with nature, even in this summer heat, blesses me with a positive attitude.
@brianireland hi Brian I would love to hear more. Am very interested to hear more of what you ate and drank what you abstained from etc
